Made with real and rare amethyst and silver plated beads. The amethyst pendant is faceted.
This is an average-length mala with round, smooth beads. For most folks, the pendant will land on the lower abdomen. You can also wear this wrapped around your neck twice so that you have two pretty loop necklace loops that hit around the mid-abdomen and the second one on the chest. Some folks like to wrap malas several times around their wrist. This mala does have a pendant.
The amethyst pendant is about an inch long and three-quarters of an inch wide. The heart pendant is about the same size as the amethyst pendant.
Malas are made of 108 beads. This is a shorter mala because of the rondelle beads (they are shaped like pancakes as opposed to being round like many beads). With the pendant, this mala rests on the chest for most folks. Bracelets are made with approximately 23-30 beads.
The bracelets are stretchy and made with elastic. The malas do not stretch and are made with durable, nylon string. Try to avoid getting them wet as this makes them wear out faster.

Amethyst is a powerful and protective stone. Most gemstone jewelry is fairly durable, but some care does need to be taken.
- Remove jewelry before doing any housework - household cleaners are corrosive and may permanently damage your gems;
- Remove jewelry before doing any manual labor; or work requiring hands to be immersed in water.
- Remove jewelry before swimming or showering - chlorine, some soaps and just immersing in water, may cause damage to your gemstones or their settings;
- Remove jewelry before sleeping - tossing and turning in your sleep puts excess strain on your jewelry, causing it to become loose or even break;
- Only put on your jewelry after perfume and/or hair care products have dried - these may cause the breakdown of the stones;
- Store in a dark place, out of direct sunlight, in a pouch, ziplock bag, or jewelry box - sunlight may cause fading of stones and the humidity in the air can cause tarnishing to silver.
General Cleaning
Silver can tarnish quite easily, leaving it looking black and dirty. To ensure that your silver is kept shiny it can be polished gently with a jewellery cloth, or you can use a standard silver polish.
Copper is likely to develop a distinctive patina. Patina is not a "defect", it is a natural by-product. If you do not like the patina effect, you can clean copper goods using standard copper polish.
TAKE CARE using polishes and tarnish removers around your gemstones, as these can cause your gemstones to become dull and fade.

The moon cleanses real stones. Especially a full moon. Rain, sun, fresh air, and nature, in general, do this.

Your jewelry comes with a bag (free of charge) so you can easily store or travel with it. It’s a bit smaller/about the size of an average makeup bag. The designs of the bag vary. I like to surprise you! The blue bag with the butterfly is an example. If you have a specific bag request, message me. This will change the price if I customize this aspect.
